臼杵市位於大分縣下方，是古跡之鄉，街道都有一番古樸的色彩。我感覺是有全面翻新過，因為寺院建築及街道都非常新穎，但古舊的氛圍仍在。

因為在由布院只顧逛街沒時間吃飯，只好吃B-Speak蛋糕充飢了，呵呵。(很好吃，但吃1件已經很膩)
◢Since there was no time for lunch in Yufuin, I could only have B-Speak Cake during the journey. (Good taste but became greasy after 1 piece= =)

下圖可以看到臼杵的中心區域，綠色圈是主要景點，紅色方是主要巴士站，平清水往左下再10分鐘巴士左右就到石佛囉。當日我14:37到達臼杵，詢問一下巴士時間表大概45分，沿棕色線走到辻，乘坐15:00的巴士往石佛。在此附上對遊客極有用的巴士時間表。
◢Green circles indicate the main sightseeing spots in city center; red rectangles indicate the main bus stops. About 10 minutes bus journey from the left of Hirasouzu you can arrive at stone Buddha. My schedule: 14:37 arrived Usuki; 14:45 collected maps and information; 15:00 got on the bus at Tsuji.

向不懂英文的候車婆婆問路，剛好車就來了，司機看到石佛圖立刻說OKOK，全車就只有婆婆、司機和我，感覺有拿我來開玩笑，哈哈。聽他們講話都感覺很溫馨，大概這小城人不多，人情味特別濃。
◢Although I did not understand what the old lady was talking to the bus driver, I felt so warm listening to their conversation.

石佛售票處右方轉角有免費儲物櫃，找不到可向職員查詢。
◢There is free locker at the right of the ticket office. Staff speaks good English and you can ask them for information.

走3分鐘左右就到入口，往外面看風景心情會很平靜。
◢There is peaceful environment in front of the entrance.

每個石佛群都設有相機架，日本很多地方都有這樣的設置，但我是第一次看到，很方便呢！佛像前這樣放好像會有一點不尊重呢，但整個區域都安排得不錯，人也只有幾個，是個放鬆心靈的好地方。
◢A truly good place to relax and feel the Buddha.

一般我會走遍整個區域 但雨很大 這邊很難走上去

候車時看到店內的可怕蜂蜜

巴士的時間要算好，接下來乘16:16的車去平清水看三重塔。
◢It would be better if you watch carefully about the bus timetable. I got on the 16:16 bus to Hirasouzu.

再直接走去寺院區及八町大路。因為又是下雨，又是平日，街上幾乎沒人，店舖也沒開，但我很享受這些時刻，很回味探索的歷程。
◢Rainy weekday = Empty street, but I enjoyed that moment very much.

走在八町大路時，有學生單車團輪著跟我說こんにちわ，有點錯愕 XD。(其實只是想，為甚麼不是女學生！)

 

最後接近是半跑半走的步伐回去，車站職員也看出我很急，遠遠的就問我是不是去Oita，我大力點頭然後衝上車，30秒左右就開車了，來日本就是要趕趕JR看！注意小倉往博多的新幹線是不能使用JR Pass的，所以臼杵往博多也一定要2.5小時左右，這一次52號列車到達小倉後，會掉頭原車再去博多，倒轉坐椅就可以了。
◢At the end I rushed to the station and was able to catch the 17:08 train to Oita. Please note that JR Pass cannot get on the ShinKanSen from Kokura to Hakata. So it would take about 2.5hours anyway from Usuki to Hakata.

最後的新幹線是JR PASS不能乘坐的 Ignore the Last Route
